Sistas on the Links May 4th Saturday 9-Hole Play Day was fun and celebratory! We were happy to welcome our new member Anne Ayankoya to her 1st round of golf! Anne participated in the SOTL Orientation to Golf Basics signup clinic in February. Since Anne is a newbie to golf, it was recommended that she take golf lessons from a Golf Pro. Using the list of golf resources provided, Anne enrolled in a series of golf lessons at Tilden Park Golf Course. Now that Anne has met the requirements of taking golf lessons and demonstrates that she consistently hits the golf ball, she has signed up for the current 6-week session Orientation to Golf Basics presented by the Player Development Committee.
